Another beautiful day in Kodiak!

We have been so fortunate with our weather here in Kodiak. For the past several weeks we have had sunny weather, a nice change from all the snow in months past. Today Matt, Mark and I decided we were going to go to Buskin River State Recreation Site. It has a really nice trail/road. The moss and the trees were so beautiful with the sunshine shining down through them. We went a couple of different trails. One ended up at a gun battery. It had a very nice overlook onto the beach below and the ocean. We then we back tracked and headed down to the beach. It was a very nice hike. Enjoy the pictures!

This was so pretty. It is an old wooded fence and all the wild flowers by it.
