I Guess They Aren't Too Old

I am pretty fortunate to have two great kids that indulge their mom. I wanted to dye some eggs this year even though Patrick doesn't like them.

While most of you will be enjoying your beautiful Easter Day, I doubt there will much of a challenge to hide those eggs is this. The view from my kitchen window.

I remember as a kid that we always had to have an egg that was dyed in all the colors. This is half way through the colors, kind of looks "camo".

The finished product!! Notice the black egg in the corner. LOL We had a lot of fun. Patrick even died his finger and it looked like he was turning into Shrek.

The Best of Mark's Eagle Pics

This is the Tom Madison Airport in Unalaska, AK. Mark's second home when they pull into Dutch Harbor. He spends many hours SKYPE'ing with me!

Exciting News and New Pictures

April is here! What comes with April??? Well it sure isn't Springtime flowers and BBQ's here is Kodiak. We get blizzards!! LOL First of all, Happy Birthday to my dear Father-in-Law!! We sure wish we could have been there to celebrate with you. Other news, I finally got a job! Yeah! I am starting work tomorrow. I have been hired by our local radio station here in Kodiak, KVOK/KRXX. I will be filling the position of Traffic/Billing Coordinator. Of course, who is already spending my paycheck??? Patrick, of course. He said yesterday that he sure is glad that "WE" got a job! So "WE" could buy stuff. Wow! That kid never stops amazing me! So Mark has sent some outrageous photos that he took this morning!! The sunrise picture was taken yesterday morning before pulling into Dutch Harbor. Just beautiful. What about the eagles shots??? He sure doesn't look too happy. Mark was about 4ft away from him and then the eagle decided to move in a little closer closing the gap to a mere 3 ft in just seconds. After that, an eagle fight ensued with one that jumped out of the dumpster and decided to defend his "find" aka trash. Mark didn't get those shots, unfortunately. Mark did say that when they collided it sounded like either two sleeping bags or two heavy winter coats being slapped together. Maybe next time Mark will be a little quicker with the camera! So here are the first three pictures he sent me. Enjoy and comment are encouraged and welcomed!! Enjoy your Springtime. I am sure by June we might just have it here.
